These guys were fantastic. They were very careful with my parents’ belongings, super friendly, professional, pleasant to work with and fun. Very hard working and efficient too! Can’t say enough. I would highly recommend them!
We found Marketplace movers on Kijiji and am so glad we went ahead with them for our move. By far the most professional and friendly movers you could come across. Morgan the owner is professional, makes sure that all details are ironed out before the move and then he takes care of everything. I did not had to worry about anything. He packed our stuff meticulously and made sure every item gets handled with utmost care. I have had experience with at least 10 movers in the past few years and never have I ever met some one so professional and flexible to cater to your needs.

What a treat to have movers that not only actually care about protecting your belongings but also have a deep understanding of different materials and construction in order to inform the best packing approach. What a cheerful, personable, and efficient team. They were respectful of not tracking in a ton of muck, especially during the slushy season. At the end of August 2022, I hired Market Place movers to move me from Kingston to Burlington Ontario. From the beginning when I was deciding what to bring, sell and otherwise dispose of, Morgan made himself available to help me move heavy items from storage and from room to room if I needed it. He was very pleasant and accommodating. The move went smoothly and efficiently with my things arriving in excellent shape at my new address in the time that was anticipated. There were no unexpected charges. Some things had to be taken apart for the move, and were reassembled at my new place. Curtains and rods were taken down, and all items including antiques, art work, glass and mirrors were handled with great care. I had several large pots of plants I wanted to move, and while the other movers I talked to refused to move them, claiming they couldn’t guarantee they wouldn’t arrive dead or badly damaged, Morgan had no problem with it, and all plants arrived in good shape. Market Place rates are very competitive. Two other movers gave me an estimate almost twice as high. Furthermore, the estimate Morgan gave me was based on large pieces not included initially, and when I changed my mind on taking them, he didn’t raise the price. If you want a trustworthy, friendly and reliable mover that charges very reasonable rates, I highly recommend this company.
